Scared to try Boot Camp? I was too.

Laura and I understand how daunting it can be to come and try your first class at WIP.  We too were both scared to try out our first bootcamp class.  I personally put off a friend that had been asking me to join her for 6 months. I am not sure why, but I think it is because I had absolutely no idea what to expect.  I was in OK shape but I had never done any type of group fitness and all I did was run or use the elliptical machine every once in awhile. What really kept me away was the fear of the unknown. Also, I had heard the horror stories, people yelling at you and getting sick.  Finally, I relented and I went with my friend to my first bootcamp class and it was like no other workout I had ever done.  It was hard but I had not felt better in months and I was hooked.

I think I would have been much more likely to attend a class if I knew what I was in for.  In an attempt to demystify what we do at WIP we have filmed a video with our trainer Karisa talking through the sequence of a typical workout at WIP. We have also included some live video from a workout with Luis so you can get an idea of what an actual workout looks like. Please keep in mind that every exercise demonstrated and performed can be modified for all skill levels.
