Aiken Elementary School

Aiken is one of 11 elementary schools in West Hartford, and it serves a neighborhood in the north end of town. The school, which opened in 1964, has about 450 students in grades preK-5. It was named after Mary Louise Aiken, a beloved West Hartford teacher who taught math and served as a guidance counselor at Sedgwick School. The Great Horned Owl, is the school's mascot.
