Whiting Lane School

<p>Whiting Lane, which serves about 500 students in grades K-5, is one of eleven elementary schools in West Hartford. The school, which opened in 1954, replaced the original East School. It is located on Whiting Lane on property once owned by the Whiting family, which owned Whiting's Nursery. Whiting Lane recently won West Hartford's Energy Challenge as the school that saved the most energy through conservation and recycling.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
