John Droney said it best. My mother was indeed a "political powerhouse" but her primaryRead More intent was to contribute to the greater good. She worked with public figures that she believed in and gave of herself, her time, and her knowledge perfectly happy with her role in the background. After writing her book on how to run a political campaign I asked my mother why she didn't run for office and she replied, "Never! I don't like being in the public eye. I'd much prefer to be behind the scenes working on the issues and making sure we have the right people in place to make things happen, plus you need a pretty face" I'm pretty sure she was speaking of Kevin Sullivan at the time. Thanks John...you're the best. Stephanie Cohen
