KO Named "Best Private School" -- 5th Year in Row

For the fifth year in a row, Kingswood Oxford has been named the Best Private School in Hartford Magazine’s “Best of” Readers’ Poll. “We are thrilled to win this important award again this year, and we know we have our loyal alumni, families, and friends to thank for it,” said Head of School Dennis Bisgaard. “Awards like these reinforce our sense of community and remind us all why we are so proud to be Wyverns.” In announcing the results, which will be published in the May issue, Hartford Magazine said this year’s poll had received the most votes ever. The distinction comes just a month after KO’s mascot, the Wyvern, placed third in the country in USA Today’s “Most Unique High School Mascot” contest.
