West Hartford resident Bepsie Perry spotted a moose in her West Hartford neighborhood on Friday night.
According to Perry, the moose ran across Asylum Ave. just west of North Main between High Point and Blue Ridge. It ultimately headed toward Hickory. She tried to follow but lost sight of it.
Anecdotal reports of moose sightings near Elizabeth Park in West Hartford over the past few days have also been heard.
A search for the moose on Tuesday in the Bugbee neighborhood was unsuccessful, but we won't give up!
