Region and Honorary Chair Denise L. Nappier, Connecticut State Treasurer, will
host the 2013 Money Conference for Women, a free
conference to help women of all ages
take charge of their financial futures. Back by popular demand, this year’s
conference again features keynote speaker, Stacey Tisdale, author and financial
journalist. On air journalist Stacey Tisdale has reported on business and
financial issues for more than 15 years. Stacey authored a book titled, The True Cost of Happiness: The Real Story
Behind Managing Your Money. A financial expert, she has created a life
skills and financial literacy curriculum.
conference features workshops led by financial experts on topics such as budgeting, investing, retirement planning and home ownership. Conference attendees can also visit the Financial Expo to learn more from a variety of financial service providers. All registered attendees will receive a free tote bag.
