ArtWalk Dedication for Memorial Road sculptures

West Hartford Art League, Neighbor

The West Hartford Art League will hold a public dedication Thursday, Sept. 12 at 5 on Memorial Road for the three horses by sculptor Karen Petersen. This event will officially kick-off ArtWalks 10th anniversary celebration. ArtWalk was founded by the League in 2004 as a way to bring art into the community.

The sculptures were originally installed on loan by the Art League during ArtWalks 5th Anniversary celebration and due to a fundraising campaign led by the West Hartford Art League over the past four years, are now a permanent addition to the community.

The public is invited to attend the short ceremony and to meet the artist.
