It's a Wonderful Month at The New Children's Museum

The

New Children’s Museum welcomes visitors to a joyous month

of weekend and school vacation activities for the whole family during

December.  A new holiday planetarium show

It Snow: A Christmas Musical Journey in the Planetarium
, presented from November 29, 2013
through New Year’s Day 2014, combines animated holiday images with classic
Christmas music under the Travelers Science Dome Planetarium.Family Wreath Making Workshops will be held on Saturday, December 7 at
1 p.m. for members and 2:30 p.m. for members and nonmembers. The Family Gingerbread Engineering Challenge

takes place at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, December
21.  Cost is $20 per family for Children’s Museum members and $25
for non-member families and includes all materials.  Each family can enjoy time together creating

one wreath/one gingerbread house per family (additional costs for extra

wreaths). Pre-registration is required and early registration is encouraged to

avoid disappointment!  To register, please
