The Innocent - a Play for Selichot

Selichot,
held on the Saturday before Rosh Hashannah, offers us a chance, through
penitential prayer, to deeply
contemplate our past year.

This
play, written for Selichot by Cantor Pamela Siskin, introduces characters, both biblical and contemporary, who come together to
begin the High Holy Days.  Each person
reveals secrets, hopes, anger, flaws, deep sadness, and serious questions about
their relationships to their families and to God.

This is an evening of drama, thought,
and challenge as the Jewish New Year approaches.
