Free Jazz Festival - The Many Colors of a W*O*M*A*N

On Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 8:00 pm, the public is invited to spend a priceless and unforgettable evening listening to the passionate, melodious sounds of jazz with a feminine flair, at the 33rd FREE Many Colors of a W*O*M*A*N Jazz Festival Concert, at The Artists Collective, 1200 Albany Avenue/Jackie McLean Way, Hartford, CT, 06112.

To kick off the twenty-six year celebration of extraordinary performances the September 7th  Many Colors of a W*O*M*A*N FREE Jazz Festival Concert will headline Nicki Mathis’ Afrikan Amerikan Jazz New Millennium All Stars: Ricky Alfonso trumpet, Billy Arnold drums, Denise Best voice, James Daggs bass, Melanie Dyer viola, Jessica Freeman voice/violin, Tylina Jackson trombone, Joey djimbe, Bill Lowe trombone, Maxine Carol Martin tenor sax, Linda Presgrave piano, Dotti Anita Taylor flute/voice, Deborah Weisz trombone, and MORE; featuring Antoinette Montague; Michelle McFarland voice, Latoya Williams voice and Women of the Cross: Leslie Byrd, Leslie Manselle.
